Fruit Trees
The Orchards are home to a number of old and unusual fruits including apples, mulberry, pears, plums and peaches. |

All fruit is organically grown using a combination of our own compost, the odd dose of organic fertiliser from a volunteer's wormery and, of course, good old hard work! |
Ponds
 |
Three ponds have been established and these provide environment and sanctuary to a variety of insects and amphibians. Denizens of the ponds include Frogs, Toads, Newts (including the Great Crested), Pond Skaters, Water Boatmen and various Dragonflies. |

At Heathfield we maintain several active beehives and Heathfield Honey is on sale at some of our open days (but get there early before it all goes!) |
