Come along to a work day and join the fun. Make new friends while doing something good for your environment. No special skills are needed as training will be provided where necessary.

Work days are usually the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, but please check the events calendar beforehand.

We meet outside the house at 10:30. If you arrive later try the courtyard entrance of the orchard gate via the walled garden. We stop for lunch (provided, suitable for vegetarians) at around 1 pm, and usually finish mid to late afternoon. Bring your own work gloves and wear old clothes and sensible footwear.

We need more volunteers to come to work days! You don't have to be a member although most volunteers are, and we can fit the tasks to suit your skills. Superhuman strength is not a requirement!
